HIPAA Compliance

Welcome Life Counseling LLC is a covered entity under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of your protected health information (PHI) in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Clinical records, session notes, and health information shared within the context of a therapist-client relationship are maintained separately from general website data and are governed by our Notice of Privacy Practices, which will be provided to you as part of the intake process.

This website does not collect protected health information. Please do not submit any personal health information through this website, contact forms, or email. A HIPAA compliant platform will be provided for all clinical communications once a therapist-client relationship has been established.

Legal Basis For Processing Your Data

At this time GDPR provides the highest standard for data processing and will be used as the guideline for data processing. The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) provides that processing of your data shall only be lawful if and to the extent that at least one of the following applies:
