You Don't Have To Keep Living Like This

Specialized therapy for women ready to heal at the root — not just manage the symptoms

Every woman who finds her way here has usually tried something before. Therapy, medication, self-help, willpower. And yet the anxiety still spikes, the memories still surface, the anger still flares without warning. That's because most traditional approaches work at the level of thought — and what you're carrying lives much deeper than that. These are the areas where I specialize, and where somatic, body-based therapy makes the difference that talk therapy alone often cannot.

Trauma

When the past won't stay in the past

You may not even call it trauma. You just know that certain memories still sting, certain situations still trigger a response you can't control, and no matter how much you've processed it mentally, something still feels stuck. Trauma isn't just what happened to you — it's what your nervous system learned in response. Using somatic tapping, brainspotting, and hypnosis, we work directly with the body to process and release what's been stored, often reaching resolution that years of talk therapy could not.

Dissociation

When you feel disconnected from yourself

Dissociation is one of the most misunderstood and underdiagnosed responses to trauma. It might feel like spacing out, losing time, feeling unreal, or watching your life from a distance. It's your nervous system's way of protecting you from overwhelming experience — and it worked, once. But if it's still happening now, it's getting in the way of your life. I specialize in working gently and safely with dissociative responses, helping you build the internal resources to stay present and grounded as we process what lies beneath.

Anxiety

When your nervous system won't stand down

Anxiety that won't respond to logic isn't a thinking problem — it's a nervous system problem. You can know rationally that you're safe and still feel your heart racing, your thoughts spiraling, your body braced for impact. That's because anxiety is stored somatically, in your body and brain stem, not just your mind. Somatic approaches like tapping and brainspotting work directly at that level, helping your nervous system finally learn that the threat has passed and it's safe to rest.

Depression

When the weight makes everything seem impossible

Depression is often described as sadness — but many women who struggle with it describe it differently. Flatness. Numbness. Going through the motions. A sense of disconnection from the life they're supposed to be living. When depression is rooted in unresolved trauma or chronic stress, talk therapy alone often isn't enough. Body-based approaches help restore the felt sense of being alive, present, and capable — not just functioning, but actually here.

Anger

When the anger feels bigger than the moment

Anger that feels disproportionate, hard to control, or followed by shame is often a signal — not a character flaw. Beneath most chronic anger is unprocessed pain, unmet needs, or a nervous system that learned early that anger was the only safe response. We work with the roots of that anger somatically, so it stops controlling you and starts informing you instead.
